This was the first time I ever painted a donut on anything. I remember waiting for Sibl in an SF donut shop late one night before we went out to paint. While sitting with junkies & Muni workers on their graveyard shift lunch break, I sketched out my second O as a few donuts on a napkin (while eating a sprinkled donuts of course!). I’ve been hooked on painting donuts ever since.

I actually never got a picture of this train, but it did end up in 12oz Prophet magazine years ago, so all I have is a magazine scan. But looks like KaptinKracker found the train floating around the country somewhere years later (in 2002) and posted his picture on the good old internet in 2009! Tight!
